She had to disable the comments on all of her instagram posts after all of the gender slurs and claims that she “murdered” him poured in. Brittany Spanos, a staff writer for the Rolling Stones reported, “she never described Miller in any way other than as someone she loved and cared for deeply who had a disease she couldn’t control.” I just think that it’s so unfortunate that right after it was announced that Miller died, Ariana’s name was trending on twitter. I mean, would you want to feel the need to “babysit” the person who you are dating because they don’t have self control? She even stated herself, “I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be”, according the Rolling Stone. She couldn’t handle being his crutch anymore, which is totally understandable. Ariana previously stated that the reason that they broke up was because of his decision to continuously take drugs. In the end, this was Miller’s fault, it was his choice to take drugs.

In my opinion, blaming someone for something that is out of their control is actually disgusting and wrong. The internet ran with this one and rose the controversy on whether or not this was her fault. Perhaps one of the worst parts of all of this, many comments were being made on Ariana Grande’s recent instagram and twitter posts blaming her for his death. As soon as the report went out that he passed, the Internet and social media blew up with stories and posts on Instagram and Twitter, with hashtags including #ripmacmiller, #macmiller, and so many more.

She also wrote that he was not transferred to a hospital as it was very clear that there was no reviving him. Maria Pasquini, a writer for People, reported that Miller’s assistant made the call to 911 after finding him unresponsive in his bed at his home in Studio City, California, just a few hours after having a normal conversation with him. As most of you know, Mac Miller passed on September 7th, 2018, due to an apparent overdose.
